About us

Zamin Consulting is a principal-owned sustainability and engineering firm focused on helping companies, governments, and innovators decarbonize and future-proof the built environment. Our work spans from small-scale residential projects to large commercial campuses, data centers, and industrial facilities—bridging strategy with implementation.

Founded by Amir Ehsaei, PhD, PE, Zamin brings over a decade of experience in embodied carbon assessment, life cycle analysis (LCA), and material decarbonization across global supply chains. At Zamin, we combine engineering rigor with systems thinking—connecting materials, energy, water, and policy into actionable pathways. Our team helps clients navigate evolving sustainability standards (EPDs, ISO 14044, EN 15804), electrify operations, and design projects that minimize both embodied and operational impacts.

We collaborate across industries—from suppliers developing low-carbon materials to developers and agencies seeking resilient infrastructure solutions. Whether conducting Scope 3 analyses, securing local or federal grants, or piloting new technologies like CO₂ mineralization and water reuse systems, our goal is consistent: to turn sustainability intent into verifiable and cost effective impact.

Zamin means “earth”—a reminder that engineering progress and environmental stewardship must coexist. Every project we take on is designed to leave both the planet and our partners stronger, cleaner, and more resilient for the long term.
