About Us
Zamin Consulting is a principal owned sustainability and engineering firm focused on helping companies, governments, and innovators decarbonize and future proof the built environment. Our work spans from small residential projects to large commercial campuses, data centers, and industrial facilities, bridging strategy with implementation and embedding sustainability directly into the engineering and construction process.
Founded by Amir Ehsaei, PhD, PE, in 2025, Zamin builds on more than a decade of experience in civil and infrastructure engineering, embodied carbon assessment, life cycle analysis, and material decarbonization across global supply chains. Amir’s background leading complex transportation, water, and utility projects, combined with his sustainability leadership at Amazon Web Services and AECOM, shapes Zamin’s ability to connect technical feasibility with measurable climate performance.
At Zamin, we combine engineering rigor with systems thinking, linking materials, energy, water, and infrastructure policy into actionable pathways. Our team helps clients navigate evolving sustainability standards such as EPDs, ISO 14044, and EN 15804, electrify operations, and design cost effective, low impact projects that reduce both embodied and operational emissions.
We collaborate across industries, from suppliers developing low carbon materials to developers and public agencies seeking resilient infrastructure solutions. Whether conducting emissions analyses, securing local or federal grants, or piloting new technologies such as CO₂ mineralization and water reuse systems, our goal remains constant: to turn sustainability intent into verifiable and cost effective results.
Zamin means "earth", a reminder that engineering progress and environmental stewardship must coexist. Every project we take on is designed to leave both the planet and our partners stronger, cleaner, and more resilient for the long term.
